Optimizing Yields and Governance rights

Radpie

Radpie is a DeFi platform developed atop Radiant Capital, dedicated to delivering optimized yields and efficient governance services.

Radiant Capital

Radiant Capital is an omnichain money market platform designed to address the fragmentation of liquidity in the DeFi landscape.

How does Radiant Capital works?

Radiant provides a platform for users to deposit and borrow assets from leading blockchains, eliminating the need for intermediaries. By locking dLP within the protocol, contributors can activate RDNT emissions and earn substantial yields. At the same time, Radiant generates revenue from lock and loan fees. To enhance user experience and simplify the deposit process, Radiant Capital features the 1-Click Loop.

dLP or Dynamic Liquidity tokens, introduced by Radiant Capital, are a key aspect of the platform. By locking RDNT-ETH on Arbitrum and RDNT-BNB on BNB Chain, users can get dLP tokens. By holding dLP tokens, users not only activate $RDNT emissions on their deposits and loans but also share in platform fees, which are composed of blue-chip assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins. Additionally, dLP tokens enable users to obtain voting and governance power via the Radiant DAO, strengthening their influence within the platformโ€‹โ€‹.

However, the dLP tokens still have room for improvement as users may face the following issues:

  • Efficiency: Users must lock a part of their assets as dLP in order to access better yields. Some users might not be interested in acquiring dLP but are forced to lock a percentage of their deposits in order to activate RDNT rewards. This is not an efficient way for users to access higher yields.

  • Lock up: dLP holders must lock their assets in order to earn passive income. When users want to convert their dLP tokens back to RDNT-ETH or RDNT-BNB, they must wait for the completion of their lock-up period. The lock up range is from 1 to 12 months. This is not an efficient way for dLP holders to earn passive income.

  • Claiming Rewards: To receive the entirety of their rewards, users need to wait through a 90-day unlocking period. If rewards are claimed prematurely, within this period, they are liable to a linear penalty that varies between 10% and 75%. As an alternative, users can obtain all their rewards automatically by channeling their earnings into dLP tokens. However, the dLP tokens will also remain locked for 30 days at minimum.

Radpie: Empowering Radiant Capital

Radpie offers a solution that empowers Radiant to maximize its long-term value. Radpie allows dLP holders to earn a share of the platform's revenue with no lock-up period required. It also provides Radiant voters with cost-effective voting power, and enables liquidity providers to earn RDNT rewards without the necessity to maintain a certain percentage of their deposits as dLP.

Radpie provides users with the opportunity to earn substantial rewards by converting their dLP into mdLP. mdLP can be staked on Radpie to earn a share of the platform's revenue.

When users convert their dLP into mdLP, Radpie automatically locks the converted dLP within Radiant Capital. This mechanism allows dLP holders to earn enhanced rewards through mdLP, while simultaneously providing Radpie with governance rights and an increased APR% as a liquidity provider on Radiant Capital.

Thanks to Radpie's dLP holdings, liquidity providers have the ability to deposit their assets on the platform and earn RDNT rewards, all without the need to lock dLPs personally.

The voting power accrued by Radpie through its dLP holdings is distributed among vlRDP holders, thereby enabling them to participate in Radiant's governance in a cost-effective manner. RDP is Radpie's governance token, which can be locked as vlRDP to access its benefits. Holders of Vote-Locked RDP can not only earn a share of the platform's revenue and influence Radiant's governance effectively, but also maximize their rewards. Please note that users must wait 30 days for their locked RDP to be fully unlocked.
